Silver Fern Siam are a dynamic company, offering flexible Project and Construction Management Service Phuket.

Mike is originally from New Zealand, and the name of the company is inspired from the NZ native 

plant, which is a well known emblem also adopted by famous New Zealand sporting teams. We are:

 Established in Phuket in early 2004 by our principal Mike Hannah, Silver Fern Siam’s mission is to 

provide professional and client oriented project management services, throughout concept, 
development and construction phases, delivering the highest quality experience to our clients.


Since its inception, Silver Fern Siam has been selected as project manager of a number of prestigious 
developments in Phuket, including villas at Cape Sol, Jomchang, Kamala Bay and the project 
management of Dazure Seaview Residence a 79 room condominium in Kata.
All demanded the highest level of expertise to deliver Client satisfaction. These Clients were satisfied 
and proved what is widely know about us, which is that Silver Fern Siam is renowned for it’s ability to 
produce results where other companies struggle, and it’s ability to work with sensitivity to the Thai 
culture while receiving exceptional results.

Mike Hannah has a Bachelor of Civil and Resource Engineering from Auckland University, New 
Zealand, majoring in seismic design. After graduating Mike has managed projects in New Zealand, 
Bangladesh and Thailand.
Mike came to Thailand in 2000 to oversee the refurbishment of the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. 
Following this he moved to Phuket and has since settled there. He is able to communicate fluently in 
Thai.

The fact that Phuket is home to our senior staff means that we are perceived as local, both as a group
and as individuals, by the local community.

We recognise that without a high level of trust, the vital relationships that can make or break a project will dissolve.

The secondary, and more ambitious challenge, is to optimize the allocation, integration and  procurement of people and materials. A project is a carefully defined set of activities that use  resources (money, people, materials, energy, space, provisions, communication, motivation, etc.) to achieve the project goals and objectives at it’s successful completion.

As Project Manager, we are typically involved directly from the concept phase of developments.
Being on site to advise and offer our experience on practical issues of design and engineering along
 
with those relating to the local regulatory framework for construction and environment protection.
